Pete has been teaching clarinet and saxophone both privately and at St. Faith's preparatory school in Cambridge for the past 12 years.
As well as giving standard instrumental tuition (including examinations through to AB grade 8 if requested), Pete specialises in incorporating an element of improvisation into much of his teaching, even at beginner level. He also runs a variety of jazz bands at the school, giving pupils the opportunity to perform and develop improvising skills in a group context.
As of September 2008, Pete is taking on private students again. Over 13s are preferred and adults are particularly welcome at any level of ability.
