As well as giving standard instrumental tuition (including examinations through to AB grade 8 if requested), Pete specialises in incorporating an element of improvisation into much of his teaching, even at beginner level. He also runs a variety of jazz bands at St. Faith's, giving pupils the opportunity to perform and develop improvising skills in a group context.
